It all started over 20 years ago…
Hi, I’m Raj. Back in 2005, I founded Davora Greeting Cards with a simple mission: to fill a real gap in the UK market for beautiful, high-quality greeting cards. That idea struck a chord, and before long we’d grown into the UK’s leading greeting card supplier for ethnic minorities, with our designs in almost every supermarket, greeting card retailer, and hundreds of independent shops across the country.
Like so many businesses, we felt the impact of Covid-19, and in 2025 we brought our greeting card business to a close. But that’s far from the end of the story: we still supply our designs to the industry, so a little bit of Davora lives on in card racks everywhere.
And there’s one part of what we do that never stopped growing: our Rakhi business. Demand for Raksha Bandhan kept going from strength to strength, and so we set up The Rakhi Store to carry forward everything we love about celebrating this special occasion. We can’t wait to be part of your celebrations!
